At a Google seminar recently we learned that websites that aren’t “mobile friendly” will fall lower in search rankings than those that do. This is happening right now. We’re not talking about websites that you can simply see on a phone, but websites that are “responsive” and format a website for phones and pads and screens so they look their best in every environment.

Websites that aren’t deemed mobile friendly by Google’s analysis tool will fall lower in search rankings than those that do, which could mean dips in revenue for companies who depend heavily on web traffic.
